Report a calculator issue.
Calculation errors deserve a reproducible report and a visible fix. We review reports about formulas, outputs, wording, sources, links, and accessibility.
How to report an issue
Email ezautomobili@gmail.com with the calculator or guide URL, the values you entered, the result you received, the result you expected, and any official source that supports the correction. Do not send account numbers, identification documents, or other sensitive financial information.
Example of a useful report
“On the percentage calculator, I entered 20 as the percentage and 250 as the value. I expected 50 because 0.20 × 250 = 50. The result shown was …” Include your browser, device and whether you selected Simple or Advanced. For a layout problem, describe the covered text or control; redact personal data from any screenshot.
Checking a difference before reporting
Match the units, pay frequency and date range first. Compare a loan’s principal-and-interest payment with the same figure on your statement, not a total that includes insurance or taxes. If you compare two calculators, share both sets of assumptions so the difference can be reproduced.
What happens next
We reproduce the issue, compare the behavior with the documented method, and determine whether the formula, implementation, explanation, or source needs to change. Material calculator fixes include a regression test before publication.
Clarifications and disagreements
Some differences result from jurisdiction rules, lender rounding, daily-interest conventions, or a missing input rather than an incorrect formula. When one universal answer would be misleading, we clarify the limitation or add an explicit option.
