Privacy policy

Sumvoro is designed to provide useful calculations without requiring an account.

Calculator inputs

Values entered into public calculators are processed in your browser to produce results. If you capture a scenario, its inputs, results and assumptions are stored locally until you remove it or clear site data. If you explicitly choose account sync, those saved scenarios are securely associated with your Sumvoro account so they can be merged across devices. Ordinary calculator edits are not uploaded.

Shared calculations

Sharing places calculator values in the link fragment, which is not sent as part of the HTTP page request. Anyone holding the full link can read those values. Shared links exclude scenario names and report notes. Do not share sensitive numbers; recipients and third-party messaging services may retain a copy.

Analytics

If you allow optional analytics, Sumvoro may collect limited technical and usage information such as visited pages, device type, approximate location, and interaction events. We use it to improve performance, content, and calculator usefulness—not to sell personal information. Our first-party engagement counters store only the UTC day, public page or calculator name, event type (pageview, calculator open, valid recalculation, completed calculation, save, share, print, search, zero-result search, or popular-link click), and a total count. Search terms are not stored. If you allow analytics, we also count worked-example loads and broad external referral categories (search, resource, community, video, or other). The first-party counters do not retain the referring URL, its query or fragment, and cannot identify a particular visitor or attribute a completed calculation to an individual campaign. Completion means a valid edited result remained visible for four seconds. These counters do not store your entered numbers or a visitor identifier. Hosting security logs may still include request information.

Cookies and local storage

Essential local storage remembers your privacy preference and any scenarios you explicitly save. Optional measurement technology loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” See the cookie notice for details.

Accounts

Optional calculation sync and the private administration area use Clerk for email sign-in, password recovery and session security. Clerk processes account information and uses essential authentication cookies. Public calculators remain available without an account, and the login software loads only when you choose an account feature.

Advertising

Sumvoro does not currently display advertising. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the privacy controls will be updated before personalized or measurement technologies are enabled.

Service providers and security

Hosting, security, and performance services may process basic request information such as IP addresses and browser headers to deliver and protect the site. We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to operational needs.

Your choices

You can change analytics permission at any time using “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the screen. Clearing browser storage also resets the choice.
